April and May 2008


May 29th 2008. (Nearly 4 months old)

We all went up to White Salmon, Washington, on Memorial Day to visit the graves of Elizabeths great-uncle and great-grandparents.


May 25th 2008. (16 weeks old)

This has been an exciting week. Elizabeth has discovered that she can put things in her mouth. Here's a video and a picture.

Last weekend we all went to Newport for our wedding anniversary. Saturday was very hot and sunny, so Elizabeth wore a big floppy hat.

May 15th 2008. (3½ months old)

Elizabeth has no new skills ... she's just getting stronger and better at the ones she already knows. We went for a walk yesterday evening with Elizabeth facing forward; she loved being able to see everything.


May 3rd 2008. (3 months old)

Elizabeth is getting happier in the Bjorn we borrowed from Karen. She fell asleep in it for the 1st time this morning.


May 2nd 2008. (3 months old)

Isabelle converted Elizabeth's mat into a tent.

Here are some of the photographs that were taken by the professional photographer when she visited 3 weeks after Elizabeth was born.


April 24th 2008. (12 weeks old)

Elizabeth has 2 new favourite things. First is Sitting up and looking around.(video 7Mb)

Second is holding on to her toys, especially the scary chicken.

She had another weight check today; she weighs 10lb 8oz, so she's still gaining weight nicely.

Elizabeth has put on about 1 pound since last week's checkup - she's enjoying and thriving on the extra food.

Elizabeth had her 2 month check-up yesterday. She's very healthy and she's grown another inch to 23 inches long. She's a bit under-weight, so we're back to the supplemental feedings. And last of all she had all her vaccinations; 4 injections. She didn't like them at all, she screamed for a minute or so then calmed down again
