June 9th 2009. DisneyLand.
This was the weekend of Aunt Jenny's birthday trip to DisneyLand
She was pretty good on the plane, she went from lap to lap and eventually fell asleep.
The characters didn't make her cry, but she kept her distance and gave them some funny looks. The princesses at Isabelle's princess lunch were much more fun.
And she didn't get excited on the rides and attractions either. She was happy to sit back and take it all in
Where she had the most fun was climbing and exploring ...
... playing in the water and the pool ...
... and laughing with everyone.
May 31st 2009. Beach trip.
We all went to Cannon Beach to celebrate our wedding anniversary. At first, Elizabeth didn't care for the sand and the strong, cold wind but later on she enjoyed walking on the beach. She especially liked watching the kites flying
In the evening we watched the sunset and the next day went to the beach again at low tide. Elizabeth liked the waterfall, the caves, and the exposed wildlife. She didn't enjoy falling over into the stream.
May 15th 2009. Toys.
Instead of banging things together, Elizabeth is increasingly playing with toys the way they're "meant" to be played with.
May 9th 2009. Tillamook.
We went for a walk along the spit at Bay Ocean.
May 3rd 2009. Climbing.
Elizabeth can climb up, but can't get down again..
April 12th 2009. Easter.
Everyone, including Isabelle with her matching dress, came over for lunch today.
April 4th 2009. Dancing.
Elizabeth loves to dance along to music.
April 1st 2009. Eating, bathing and walking.
